The SRR difference is the day in and day out presence of the owners both in the office and at the River. Talk to Mike in the office staying home with the wife and kids and then meet Wiley and James at the River the day of your trip. We really love what we do and want to share it with you. Don't just take our word for it, read about the SRR difference on our guestbook page or on Trip Advisor and Yelp. We look forward to seeing you in the Canyon!

Had a great time. The teens LOVED it and are ready for more extreme water rafting. We loved our guide Aaron, very full of information and to hear all that he has done is amazing. Aaron made the trip so much better and the water surfing was so fun and we needed to cool off so that helped. Food was good and the other guides were so helpful, we had so much food we didnt go away hungry.
Loved seeing places that we normally wouldnt see, AZ is so beautiful, thats why we live here.
thank you for giving us a great first experience at white water rafting....we are hooked.

3 You don’t need to travel far or take a week off to have a white-water experience. Just north of Globe, you can spend a spring day running the rapids through the Salt River Canyon. When we were on the river, there were families and kids of all ages. Our guides gave us excellent instruction and encouragement. Just before the final rapids, we stopped for a riverside cookout. Prime season is March through May. Trips start at about $140 for one day. Details: 800-472-5194, www.raftthesalt.com.

This was a great trip (we did the one day trip) and I highly recommend it for anyone visiting or living in AZ. The company was very organized and the raft guides were very nice and laid back. More importantly, they knew their stuff and how to 1.have fun 2. keep clients safe. The area is absolutely beautiful and on an April day the weather was perfect. Our raft guide Frenchie was personable and professional. We also worked with a couple other guides who all took interest in us as well. They seem to have a really cohesive team that allows them to succeed at making customers happy. I would recommend this trip for anyone with a love for adventure. Oh- suggestions: 1. Take a waterproof camera (you will see dozens of beautiful sites and animals) 2. Wear sunscreen and your bathing suit. Go with an open heart and you will make a ton of friends.

I booked a trip for me and 10 of my colleagues as a team building activity. What an awesome trip from beginning to end. The staff was very professional and made everyone feel at ease, especially those that felt their swimming skills were not very strong. Brian gave an excellent safety and training lesson before we entered the water. Our guide Doug was unbelievable (and hilarious). Very engaging with everyone in the boat, and explained everything in detail prior to entering each rapid. Food was great and there was plenty to go around. I would definitely recommend this trip for anyone. As a side note, the view cannot be put into words. You have to see it to believe it! All of our team said it was the best company team activity ever. Thanks for the great time.

My friend had arranged for a kayaking trip for 7 of us for her birthday. We travelled to the canyon from PHX in two cars. Long story short...the other car (being driven by the birthday girl) got lost. They were over two hours late for our 10:00 departure. Salt River Rafting was so laid back, assuring those of us who were on time they would make it work.
The girls finally showed up and SRR fed us lunch and we hit the river. Prester, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna and sights on the river. He was also amazingly tolerant of 7 raunchy girls! Even though our trip was short, I had a blast and got my money's worth. SRR fed us so well - chicken fettuccine Alfredo for dinner, eggs Benedict for breakfast. Flint, one of the guides and chef, did a terrific job. All of the guides are helpful & friendly.
I can't wait to go back next year.

My wife and I took our two teenage daughters for a two day trip just before Easter and had a great time. The food was well planned out and delicious. Our guide, Flint, has a culinary background and always added the right touch to each meal. Each guide we encountered was friendly, outgoing, and great at anticipating our needs, not to mention very experienced on the water. They made it very fun, but we always felt saftey was the priority, they are definately stewards of the river. Day two we rafted some of the same rapids we did the day before, something I was hesitant about, wanting to see as much river as we could, but realized early on it was the right way to manage the trip. It minimized the transportation, and made the second runs a lot more fun. It's quite possible we may follow the crew to CO when our season is done, on our way home to phoenix we decided this was something to do again.

The guides were AWESOME! (Especially Kady!). It was not only a blast getting splashed and stuck on rocks but we learned about the area where we were rafting. Fun facts about Geronimo, and mines and a handful of other things! We enjoyed a fun relaxing lunch. I can't wait to go back next year. So glad that they provided wet suits and shoes because brrrrr the water was chilly!

Me and my friend took our 14 year old sons on a full day trip during their spring break. Glad we did. The staff was fun and knowledgable and provided for a great trip. Scenery is amazing. Best part about it was no cell phone coverage so you can really get away. Would recommend to everyone.
We just wanted to let you all know your whole operation is a class act! We had a great time camping with and getting to know the guides on Friday night, and the rafting was a blast. We will definitely return for more.

This was my first time whitewater rafting, and I am really grateful that it was with this company! They were professional, fun, and very patient! I went with a group that was celebrating a friend's 60th birthday, and I cannot think of a better way to celebrate! Absolutely everything was provided for in the way of equipment, and they gave very good instructions on what was expected of us. Our guide was Katie, and she was adorable, always with the biggest smile on her face!
I can only speak for myself, but I'm pretty ever last one of us had a great time! I will most definitely do this again, and will choose SRR to do it with.
