The multi-day and super one day wilderness trips have a minumum group size of 4 people for us to break even. The one day wilderness trips only go out Monday through Thursday as we are usually too busy to run them on the weekend. But then sometimes it isn't that busy. Give us a call. That being said, we won't cancel your trip should you not reach the minimum. Below are options to help us out.
Option 1: If you don't have the minimum group size of 4 people, call our office at 800-425-5253 or 719-539-3555. Give us your desired date, trip length, number of people, and we will post it here for others to join.
Option 2: If you already have 4 or more people who want to do a multi-day trip on ANY date during the season, just call our office to book it. Tthe super one day wilderness trip ONLY goes out Monday through Thursday.
Option 3: In 2010 we had Wilderness trips go out 12 of 14 weekends, many from 4-5 days. The 3 day trips listed below are the most popular because they run from Friday through Sunday. We still need to have a minimum group of 4 for these dates.

Subject: Awesome Time
I just got back to my office after the three day and realized that I am still looking at pics from your website and YouTubing every video of the Upper Salt I can find. I had an amazing time and feel as if there is still river water coursing thru my blood. Paul, Tango and Flint were our guides and the three of them got our old, fat asses down that river like we were kids again!!! I had the pleasure of riding in Paul’s raft and I am here to tell you that he was a hoot. Paul was able to blend into our group and once acclimated to the way we act(which is mostly childish and raunchy when the wives aren’t around) was like a chameleon and he made us feel comfortable. He was full of knowledge of the area and made sure there was never a dull moment. Flint captained the gear boat on this trip and was full of passion for rafting and made for amusing time around the fire. I wish they both could have been in our raft the whole time. I am used to hiking and backpacking all over the AZ so turning over the reins of camp to someone else was a little unnerving but this crew had their stuff square. They took care of the clients first and second and only after we were lounging around did they take care of themselves. The food was first rate and no expense was spared when it came to gourmet cooking. This definitely was not a Chef Boyardee trip. I have eaten everything from Mountain House, Ramen and MRE’s to smoked turkey and real mashed potatoes on trips but never have I seen the culinary expertise delivered by this crew. I know that everything tastes better in the field, especially after a day of working hard, but the plates of food we were served would have been at home in the neighborhood steakhouse. I am sure I speak for everybody on our trip when I say that this was a first rate ADVENTURE and I can’t wait till I get the chance to do something like this again.
I applaud your passion and deeply respect the experience you all have.

this was the BEST Wilderness trip I’ve taken.
Hi Mike and Staff,
My first whitewater rafting experience was May 2008. Since then, I have been hooked and I have rafted over 25 times commercially (mostly in California). I have met many wonderful people in 2 years. It's pretty fun to see them (the guides) working for various companies, due to seasonality. Of all the trips I've been on... this was the BEST Wilderness trip I've taken. Jason and Flint were absolutely fabulous and provided us with an awesome whitewater rafting experience. Their professionalism, teamwork and genuine friendliness, make these two guides an impressive asset to your company. Please let James (who we met on our ride from Globe to the put-in) know that all of us on this trip said SRR had an outstanding website. Tons of information, very detailed and user friendly. I booked with SRR, because of recommendations from Ian M. The other 4 customers booked with you, because of your website. James also gave us some interesting info about the areas we were driving through. I believe that some of the people on this trip, will be doing some of the hiking/camping recommended by James. If I can, I might try to do another wilderness trip in May.
Thanks!
